I know this is a common topic on this sub-Reddit, but I'm becoming increasingly disappointed with Bath & Body Works' candles. The past few candles I've purchased have smelled decent on cold, with strong, distinctive scents only for me to get home and burn them and not be able to smell them at all. Older candles were labeled as "Our patented soy blend wax is formulated to provide the best fragrance experience," while newer candles are labeled with "Our proprietary fragrance wax blend is formulated to provide the best fragrance experience." This change is likely due to cost-cutting, but it does seem to make a noticeable decrease in quality.
I randomly got into bath and body works candles this year and I've found many that I really like. Some that I favor are: Harvest gathering: So delicious and warm, smells just like a batch of baked apples. Very on point for fall but not a good match for the other seasons which holds it back in my opinion.
